Juliet Taylor is a award winning advertising photographer that works between Sydney and Paris.
Juliet's work has been featured in numerous publications including Capture magazine, desktop, B&T, Australian Creative and internationally in the Luerzer's Archive 200 top photographers, among others. In 2006, she scooped the Australian Creative Hot Shop Award for Best Photographer and the following year was invited to speak at the prestigious AGIdeas International Design Week. In 2010, speaking at the AIPA - Image Nation in NZ, In 2011 the AIPP NIKON event in Adelaide.
A unique combination of drive, originality and professionalism has seen Juliet work with international agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney & Paris, DDB New Zealand, Whybin TBWA, Ogilvy,BWM, Mccann, BMF, CJB with clients such as Nissan, Fox Sports, Telstra BigPond, Ford, Fosters, Pfizer and Toni & Guy to name a few.
After having trained with international unconventional industry leaders, Juliet now has ten years experience behind the camera and currently heads her own company, Juliet Productions, where she works among a dedicated, passionate and determined young team.
Juliet's passion is for "shooting ideas," experimenting and innovating to find new ways to communicate a brief. A flair for working with models has also seen her become recognised in the industry as a people-driven photographer. As she says, “seventy percent of being a photographer is really about directing energy and getting the best out of the people around you."
A firm believer in experimentation and innovation, Juliet employs the latest in digital technology for both the shooting and post-production process. Finding inspiration in diverse places, from the imagery of surrealism and the fluidity of painted canvases to the sensory stimulation of travel, her striking and dynamic images reflect her passionate conviction that "a photographer's most powerful tool is the mind."
